2 for the price of 1...

11.20am: I recieve a text message from Dean.
"Hi Ilana, are we still on for tonight's dinner? I hope so."
Well this is a first, a guy texting at 11 in the morning to ask if our date for tonight is still on, and he hopes so. He is excited. This is good. Yet, not so good as to be honest, I am not so excited.
I met Dean on a dating site. We have been talking for the past two months. He is tall, awell built, green eyes, golden hair and works in property. Over the phone and texting/emails, we got on well but who knows what it will be like when we actually meet up for the first time.

11.45am: "Hey Dean, I will meet you at the restaurant at 8pm. See you then x. "
Date number one, sorted.

1.46pm: I recieve a text message from Chris.
"Hey Ilana, are we still on for desert tonight?"
Let me introduce you to Chris. Chris is a guy I met a few years ago at a club through mutual friends. He is one of those guys that when I see out we are always happy to see eachother and say how long its been and we should meet up. He is also the guy I kiss when I am out on a drunken night and he is there. Chris is a little taller than me, pale skin, dark hair, dark eyes and quite skinny. He works as an electrician and I won't lie, his personality is as bright as his job!
After re kindling our friendship via Facebook, he decided to tell me that he has always had 'a thing' for me and would like to take me out. I agreed but told him I had a very busy week and could only meet late Wednesday night as I had a meeting before hand. (Little did he know that I was actually going for a date first.) The reason I said Wednesday to Chris as well was because to be honest, I am not that big on dating. So thought if I had already had dinner with Dean, had a few glasses of Vino down me, I would still be up for meeting Chris.

11.52am: "Hey Chris, yeah tonight is still on. See you 9.30ish."

5pm: I left work early so decided to go for a swim to freshen me up before my nightime of activities.

8pm: I arrive at the restaurant on time (for once in my life) and I see Dean already sitting at a table waiting for me. I knew it was him instantly. His golden hair swooped back off of his face and wearing a suit (which makes me melt) I thought this would be a great evening. How wrong was I!! As much as Dean is great to look at, I would have much rather have sat there with ear plugs in. His conversation was as dull as it could be. He tried to boast that his job was very high rated in the property community. There was me thinking, "No love, you are just an Estate Agent!"
Second large glass of wine ordered. The meal was very nice yet instead of listening to Dean, I really put alot of energy into cutting my food in to shapes. I had a lot of fun cutting my chicken in the shapes of hearts and squares and I don't think Dean even noticed me doing this as he was so occupied by the sound of his own voice.

9.15pm: I excuse myself to the ladies room where I text Chris to let him know I have only just left my meeting and will arrive about 15 minutes late. Wow, I have already lied to this guy twice in one day, great start. I have not even left Dean's date yet but need to drive twenty minutes away to meet Chris.
I go back to the table and Dean asks if I would like desert. I tell him that I am so tired and need to get going. We get the bill and obviously I get my purse out but Dean insists that he pays. We walk to our cars and he leans in for a kiss goodbye and I kiss his cheek. The look on his face was to say "I just paid for our dinner and your massive glasses of wine and you give me the cheek?" I told him I had a wonderful evening and we will speak tomorrow. Two more lies.

9.45pm: I arrive to meet Chris 15 minutes late but he didn't seem too bothered. He tells me I seem tipsy (which I am) and once again I lie and say, "Oh yes we had a few bottles of wine on the table at the work dinner meeting." Lied again. I am glad I drank during my date with Dean because I feel much more at ease now with Chris. So we order coffee and I order a slice of bannoffee pie. Obviously I need something to soak up the alcohol.
So Chris and I are getting on swimmingly when he makes me laugh whilst I take a sip of my coffee and I choke. Now my friends and family know that you cannot make me laugh whilst I am drinking as spitting it out is a regular occurance. So I knew it was about to happen so held it in, which lead to me choking on my drink. Luckily, Chris found it really funny which was good. Had I have been with Dean, he probably would have got behind me and said "I am in property, I know how the Heimlich Maneuver!"
Thinking this, I started giggling to myself and had to blame it on the fact that what happened was funny.
So Chris and I finish desert and our coffee and asks if I would like to take a walk. I agreed and we took a nice stroll. At one point, Chris took hold of my hand and I actually had butterflies in my stomach.
He then walked me to my car and leant in for a kiss. Waheyy, two guys trying to kiss me in one night. Instead of kissing his cheek like I did to Dean, I leant forward and kissed his lips. This then lead to a really passionate kiss up against my car.
Let's just say, his friend popped up to say hello. As much as I wanted to carry on this passion filled moment, the last thing I wanted was another stain on the back seat of my car.
I broke free from the tonsil tennis we were playing and told him I had a wonderful time. First bit of truth in the evening.

11.15pm: I am driving home and my phone beeps. It is a text message from Dean. "Hey Ilana, thanks for coming for dinner with me tonight. I had a great time and I think our connection is great. Would you like to go on a second date?x"
Reading this I burst out laughing. I am sat at traffic lights in the car laughing to myself. The guy in the car next to me thinks I am a freak! I feel the urge to reply saying, "Hey Dean, thank you for tonight. To be honest, the best part of my night was cutting shapes in my chicken and I found out that I am really good at it and it could infact be a talent. I really could not sit with you for another minute and talk about how many viewings you go on a day or how you won 'Agent of the month' because to be honest, I would rather sit in a pile of horse cack! I would however like to thank you for paying and also let you know that your hair looked wonderful. Take Care. Ilana."
Oh how I wish I could send that. Instead, I do not reply.

12.30am: I am lying in bed dosing off when my phone beeps. Chris is phoning. I clear it as I am practically half asleep and he leaves a voice message which says, "Hey babe, I really had a good time tonight and want to see you again soon."

This made me smile. I really had a good time and do like Chris. I also liked that fact he was having a party in his pants from just kissing me. He will most certainly be seeing me again soon....

Mile High..

So, I am sat on the plane on my journey back from Spain to London, next to a Dane Cook look-a-like. He is tall, tanned, rugged looking with stubble and perfect white teeth. We are sat on the emergency exit row which means we have lots of leg room but does not mean that our legs do not stop touching.

We started talking to one another about ten minutes after he sat next to me and I find out that he works as a painter and decorator which I can imagine he is great at. I then started imagining him wearing nothing but denim overalls with paint all over himself, and then with no overalls. OK, great - I am sat in the window seat imagining the Dane Cook look-a-like naked.

I find out Mr Cook's real name is Pierre. "Very French" I said. He then told me that his mother is French and that his dad is Spanish (perfect Med mix) and the reason for his trip to Spain was to visit his family. So now the overalls image is out of my head and I am imagining mine and Pierre's beautiful looking Med children. His Spanish/French looks and my Moroccan/Israeli looks - would make gorgeous children. OK Ilana, stop thinking about having children with a man you met 15 minutes ago.
I decided I would try and impress Pierre with my great French knowledge, which went down well and made him laugh. You see, the French I speak is what I remember from school. For example, 'les pantalons brun' = the brown trousers. Or 'jai voudrais une aller returne le Paris non fumer merci' - I would like a return ticket to Paris non smoking please. Or how about the one that made me giggle to myself - 'jai voudrais le jambon' - I want ham. So I say the word ham and I think meat, then I think of sausage and then I think of his sausage. So now my eyes are focusing on his package area and I am hoping he does not notice. I am trying to look in his eyes as we speak but my eyes are wondering. It's like my brain only wants to think of cock and nothing else.

Pierre then notices my book lodged in front of my legs in the compartment on the back of the seat in front and asks to see it. OK, now I am embarrassed. The book I am reading is called "Sleeping Around: Secrets Of A Sexual Adventure" by Catherine Townsend. I see a smile forced on his face but I think he is slightly shocked. He then asks me what the book is about. Right, how do I explain this book and put it simply?
"Well Pierre, it is about an American girl living in London who writes a sex column for the Telegraph and basically shares her sex life and most intimate feelings with us."
"Is it any good?" Pierre asked. My reply - "Oh it is great! She talks about guys she sleeps with, their penis sizes and sex toys!" OH MY GOSH.. Did I actually just tell this gorgeous man that I am reading a book about penis sizes and vibrators?! As if that isn't bad enough, I can not get the thought of the size of Pierre's penis out of my head.
I then start thinking about how I would love to earn points for the Mile High Club! Unfortunately, on board an EasyJet plane, there are two toilets only. One situated at the front of the plane and one at the back. The whole plane including staff would have to be asleep for me to be able to sneak in with Pierre. If only we were on board a BA flight where they have curtains to hide the toilet areas. They are also slightly bigger toilets that the ones on Easyjet which just about fit my ass inside.

So, there I am, deep in thought about sleeping with Pierre, and he has dozed off. Typical man. I am hoping his head falls onto my shoulder. To be fair, I am wearing a low cut top and I have seen him checking out my cleavage. Check away Pierre. Have a squeeze for all I care. They cannot be missed, they are quite the pair let me add.
I lean my head on the window and doze off. Both Pierre and myself are both awoken by an announcement on the plane. "Are there any doctors or medics on board this flight? If so please come see one of the staff immediately!" Everyone is looking around to see what has happened and who has fallen ill. We then find out a man is feeling very faint and he is taken oxygen. I kind of wanted to shoot up my hand and say "I am a doctor!" I am nowhere near a doctor. But surely with a first aid certificate and having watched seven seasons of Greys Anatomy, I am close to medic status.

So Pierre and I are now both fully awake and he asks me if I am single. To which I reply, "Yes I am now. I was dating someone before I went away but it just wasn't working." The reason I said this was I wanted him to think that as it was nothing serious I am happy to move on but still only ended two weeks ago so he should try harder. To my excitement, Pierre told me that he is also single and the 'guy' I was dating obviously did not deserve me, which I agreed with.

The seat belt sign is switched on and a voice announces that we will shortly be landing in London Luton. That two and a half hour journey went by so quickly and I desperately wished Pierre and I were on a ten hour flight to South Africa.
I told Pierre that I hate landing and he held my hand. As he took hold of my hand, my whole body tingled. I could no longer think about my fear of planes and landing but instead just thought about snogging the face off him. My imagination really gets the better of me sometimes.

The plane lands, everyone claps and the seatbelt sign is switched off. Pierre lets go of my hand and stands up to reach into the overhead compartment to get both of our bags. As he is standing there, his shirt was lifted and I can see a trail of hair, most usually known as the 'snail trail' leading from his tummy downwards. Once again, I am fixated on his package, just wanting to open his zip. His tanned arms then lean towards me, handing me over my bag. As I take my bag, I touch his hand, our eyes meet and we both smile. I think I just made a mess in my knickers.

We walk off of the plane and into the terminal. We get to the luggage carousel and to my amazement, my suitcase is the first one coming around. This never happens. It is usually last. Pierre helps me to get it onto my trolley. Now it is time to say goodbye. I know my mum is waiting for me in the car park but all I want to do is go back with Pierre. He grabs my shoulders and gives me a kiss on both cheeks and tells me it was great meeting me. He then asks me a question that makes my face beam like the Cheshire cat. He asks for my number. I give it to him without hesitation, put my bag on my shoulder and wave him goodbye in hopes I hear from him shortly....

Happy New Year's!

What a wonderful week this last one has been! So many feelings and emotions come from taking the time to ponder upon and reflect on the last week of the Savior’s life. What was He feeling during these times? How did He spend His time when He wasn’t teaching or performing miracles? This last Sunday we recognized Palm Sunday where Jesus made his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Yesterday, Good Friday, we had the opportunity to remember that He was placed on the cross and killed for each and everyone of us. Now tomorrow we get to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. How important this is for all of us to truly ponder. How important this is for each of us to remember not just on Easter Sunday, but every Sunday…every DAY…..Every minute of our lives!

This last week my wife and I were pondering why the ending of Jesus’ life had to happen the way it did. After all, God is all powerful and if it were His will, I have no doubt it could have just been done by His word. But was a great and wonderful act of symbolism He gave to us. What a perfect time of year that this happened during. When winter is melting away and the Earth is going through a re-birth. Trees and plants are coming back to life. Baby birds and other animals are born. When Christ died and was resurrected it was a new life for humanity as we know it. Because of this act, sin and death had now been beaten. We were now free from Satin’s grasp. We now had new life.

Each year on January 1st we celebrate New Years. It is a time were people start over and make resolutions for the upcoming year to better themselves and others. Whether it is to loose weight or to spend more time with family, people take these goals seriously and try there best to accomplish them. As Christians, we have our very own version of New Years. As Easter comes each year, we should take the opportunity to commit to a new life in Christ. Look deep into your own life, and pick out some of those things that you struggle with, cause we all have them. Make some “New Years Resolutions” for those things you would like to accomplish. Make a goal to read the entire Bible this year. If you read only 3.3 chapters each day, you will finish the entire bible in one year. Take this time to be re-born again. Romans 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Once a month all of the men in the Christian community here in the Bridger Valley get together on a Saturday morning for a Men’s Breakfast. It is a time for fellowship, sharing, and learning between all of us. This morning the conversation rotated around becoming one with God and having a TRUE relationship with Him. One man said that his goal was to follow 1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Whether we are in church, at work, or with our families at home, we need to take EVERY SINGLE action we do and ask ourselves, “Am I doing this for the glory of God?” He should be first and foremost above everything else.

As Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday there were crowds of people shouting “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!” How sad to see that five days later these same voices were now shouting, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” We are so quick to look down on those who betrayed Jesus in the last days of His life, but in all reality, how many of us betray Him each and every day. Whether it is to look popular, or satisfy worldly needs, or to gain profit for ourselves. Not that we may deny Him, but when we put ANYTHING before Him, we are betraying Him. Matthew 10:37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. If the Lord is not #1 in our lives then we have no hope. All we do should be to lift Him up and praise Him in all things. Please take the time to watch this video and think about how much Jesus loves you! Remember Him always and He will always remember you. Galatians 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Quest for love = Sex?!

Hey dolls,

Hope you are well.

It has been a while since I wrote a blog about love/sex so here is one to get your minds going!

A friend and I were having a conversation recently about growing up, being single, life and sex and she mentioned she thought it was ok to have sex with guys on the first date because it could lead to a long term relationship.
Is it bad that I sat there and laughed in her face?
Not at the fact that she has sex on the first date, but at the fact that she so desperately wanted a boyfriend, that she would have sex with them to see if they were potential.

For me, personally, I like to find out about a guy before he makes it to the bedroom scene. In my head, I make it like a movie. You meet, you text/call, you go on a date, and then another date, find out about eachother, let that chemistry really go wild where it gets to the stage that not only do you feel so comfortable with that person but you also madly want to rip their clothes off.
Now, I say this but has this scene happened recently? NO! Once again, I am living in a movie :)

I do not disagree with my friend though. A lot of time, you meet a guy, click straight away, go on a date and end up having sex. Sometimes yeah, it can end up being a one night stand, but when it isn't, I guess it is great to see where it goes.
I also agree with her because it could be that you meet a guy, you are so compatible, a great connection and you wait untill lets say the 6th date where now you have been seeing eachother for two months and you really like him, you then get into bed with him and after a two minute session, you are naturally gutted and you know its over!

But do some women feel that finding their quest for love is through sex? I asked 5 friends their opinion. 3 said they did not mind having sex on the first date if they knew he would be a potential match, 1 said she didn't mind sex on the first date regardless and the 1 other said she would never have sex just to see if he could be a potential boyfriend. Her reason being that if you are compatible and there is a connection, the bedroom activity should come after and not matter as much and if it is not great, get toys! << I LOVE that! :)

When it comes to sex on the first date though, there surely are a lot of things that would run through a girls mind? Is this just a one night stand? Will it be more? Will he think I am a slut for shagging on the first date? Will he think I am easy and contact me for a 'booty call?'
Wow, being a girl is hard! Makes you mad that guys easily get away with it!

I would love to hear everyone else's point of view on this. Would you have sex on the first date if you thought he was a potential boyfriend? Would you have sex on the first date regardless? Would you rather save it for down the line? Please get in touch and let me know by adding a comment on this post..

Isn't There An Easier Way?

It has now been so long since I have sat down and taken the time to post anything on this blog now. I apologize for this to everybody who enjoys reading them. It can be such a mystery of life how things can suddenly turn bad for no apparent reason. In the last month or so we have had many sudden, unexpected, and most of all unwanted surprises come at us all at once that we have had to deal with. But as He always does, He provides us a very great and profitable lesson in each of our trials. A little while ago, all at about the same time, I lost my job, we had to sell our house and move, and almost ran completely out of all money before things started to get better. It was really as if the Lord waited until the very last moment before he decided to step in and help us with the problem. It reminded me of the story of  Job. He went through more than most anyone could imagine. He remained faithful with the Lord, but still God will sometimes test us to the very breaking point and then answer our prayers. I also was reminded again that while God will always answer our prayers, it is not always in the way we are expecting or wanting. Maybe the Lord didn’t want us in that house. Maybe we needed to be here for a greater reason that we don’t understand.

So my question to pose tonight is this, “Why does God allow life to become so difficult for us?” There are so many people who have done nothing wrong but the Lord puts us in these situations that can just make us ask, “Why? I am strong in the Lord, I have my faults as does everybody but I try my best. So why do I need to go through this? Why do I need to prove myself in this way?”

I am sure that each of you have felt this way at some point in your lives. For me the clear answer didn’t come fully until after the fact. But there were so many different ways we were taken care of despite all that was going on. If this would have happened any time other than when we received our tax returns, we would not have been able to get into another place. The truth is that the Lord is always with us and watching over us even when it may seem that He has abandoned us. He wont let us fall completely.

Hear is another thing to keep in mind when you go through these things. God knows our hearts, our thoughts, our intentions, and everything else. He knows how faithful we are. And because of this there is no need for Him to test us……..for Him. HE IS TESTING US FOR US! This is not to prove anything to Him. He knows what’s going to happen. This is to prove to ourselves our devotion to Him. Yes, sometimes it is hard, sometimes it may seem that the world has fallen out of place and all is hopeless, sometimes we are asking, isn‘t there an easier way? But the truth is that life is hard. This is our time to be tested, to come to know Him, so that we may return one day to live with God.

If Jesus Christ can come in the night, fall to the ground, sweat drops of blood, and shout out, “Abba, Father (Daddy in a sense), if there is anyway this cup can pass, then let it pass”, then surely we are allowed, we are invited, we have the opportunity and duty to spend a few minutes on the cross. A little time in Gethsemane. Now don’t misunderstand me, I’m in no way saying that we need to go through anything like what Jesus did, but hopefully you understand my point.

Friends, the next time your life gets difficult, and you find yourself wondering if there isn’t another way?…..You remember that you are not the first person to ask that! Somebody a lot greater….and a lot grander asked that question on that night so long ago. “Isn‘t there an easier way?”

The next time you feel like God has abandoned you because things get hard and your prayers aren’t being answered in the time frame or way you want them to be, remember that Jesus Himself, while hanging on the cross, shouted, “Father, why have you forsaken me?”

Jesus has gone through every sorrow, every bad day, every worried feeling that any of us have been through or EVER WILL GO THROUGH. He knows how we feel, He understands it. He will NEVER abandon us. He knows what is best for us and will guide our lives in the best way there is. We may not understand it at the time. We may never understand it throughout the rest of our lives. But we can rest in the fact that He is taking care of it. Psalms 139: 1-6 says, “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold. O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.”

Proverbs 3:5 ,”Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

God is good, God is great! God knows us, and is an expert on what we need and when we need it. He is taking care of things for us. It is our job to trust that He knows what He is doing. To sit back and say, “Lord you are great in all things and You know what is right for me. I am turning my life over to you and trust in what you decided for me.”

I promise you we will all face many more troubles in the coming days and it is my greatest hope that we can just put it in the Lord’s hands and know He is God.

Online Dating!

Hey dolls,

Hope you are keeping well and enjoying the sun!

I thought I would tell you all about my latest experience in life, and that is with Internet Dating!
I will be honest with you, I have never been one for internet dating, but a friend of mine and myself decided we would test it for a month.
So we paid our first month subscription and off we went.

Half me really wishes I did not waste 20 pounds to join a dating website. Not because it makes me seem desperate (which till now I am not entirely sure) but because half of the guys on this site are just beyond horrific! Some of them I know and some are nice but some I see and wish that 20 pounds would have gone towards a new handbag!

Obviously, as it is over a computer, the first thing you do look at are their pictures. You can look at profiles and their description may be the exact guy you are looking for in life, but you look at their picture and it just does not work! This may seem shallow, but that is life. I am sure guys have looked at my profile and said "what a dog" and moved on to the next. There are those who start messaging you just asking for sex, which really amuses me. If you want sex, go to a pub or bar and find a drunk girl. Do not ask a cold sober me sitting in my pjs with a bowl of Ben and Jerrys if I would like to meet you for sex. WRONGUN!

A lot of guys you would never look at twice in the street do get in touch. There is one guy who I found out actually lives a 2 minute walk from me. He was so sweet and really tried to get to know me and was lovely, I just knew it would not work. I am the kind of girl to give everyone a chance though. If you start chatting to me, I will chat back, mainly because I would not want to hurt anyones feelings. The harsh thing is when they keep on talking and you are not on it and have to say "I am really sorry but I don't think this will work!" CRINGE!

I got speaking with one guy, was really nice, was not 100% keen but when he asked me on a date, I thought why not and went. He took me to dinner (i say took, I drive myself and met him there) to a lovely restaurant. Conversation was flowing but I could not pay attention. His stories were boring and kept trying to make me laugh. Lets not forget, I am the biggest laugh and like a joke, but this dude was trying too hard and I had to fake laugh, which in turn made me laugh for real which lead to the start of a laughing fit. Dinner finished and he even wanted to stay for desert, I mentioned getting the bill. He paid, I said bye and up and left. I think he got the hint and did not ask me on a second date.

A few other friends of mine are on this same website and have told me funny stories about dates they have been on. For eexample, during *Charlottes date (which she thought was going well) the guy said he had a sore tummy and did not feel well and the date ended. The funny thing was that she did not want to go but he begged her to meet him and then he boshed her off with a LAME excuse. Another friend *Rebecca met up with a guy who said to her "you look much skinnier in your pictures!" She was mortified. Can you imagine!!!

It has been quite funny being on the site. I get home from a night at the pub, log on at 11pm and so many guys are on and trying to chat. So I didnt meet anyone nice to chat to in the pub, but I get home and have a lovely conversation with Joe1900 who's life story I now know. I find it amusing that over a computer, people do not mind to tell you their deepest secrets and stories.

So, for now online dating has been a laugh, but put it this way, I shant be extending my subscription!

I would love to know if any of you have any internet dating stories.. tweet me @LittleMissVak or email Blogdoll21@gmail.com

Have a great weekend!

Hop on the magic SHAKE bus!

Hey dolls,

Hope everyone is well!

Last Sunday night, I attended the launch of the new "Shaketastic Bus!" You are probably wondering what a Shaketastic bus is!

Well, firstly I will tell you about Shaketastic. They are a milkshake and juice bar brand. With 5 stores under their name at the moment, they are one of the fastest growing brands of their sector. Shaketastic opening in February 2009 at the height of the recession. The day they opened was one of the worst snow days London had ever seen. Every shop closed but Shaketastic sold open and on their first day of business, they knew they would be a success.

Each shake has a differnt name - from Goldmember (crunchie, toffee popcorn and maple syrup) Coco Baby - MY FAVE (Farleys Rusks, Coconut, nutella, chocolate syrup) Clockwork orange (terry chocolate orange, jaffa cakes and smarties). If you want, you can even make your own shake, chosing a small, medium or 'pimp' size and add as many flavours inside as you like. Along with shakes, they also offer the most delicious and refreshing smoothies. My favourites are Low Cal which includes Rasberry, Strawberry, Mango and apple juice and Liquid Dream which includes Mango, Cherry, Coconut and Apple juice. They have all fruits you can imagine including banana, lychee, pineapple, passion fruit or can even add mint leaves!

The great thing about Shaketastic is that on the weekend they stay open until 2.30 (check local branch to view times.) My local branch is open until 2.30 and seems to still be so busy when I go there at 2am after a night clubbing! If you do not drive or at home having a night in with friends, what could be better than having a Shaketastic delivery. If your order is over 15 pounds, your delivery is free!

So, back to the bus!! As Shaketastic were doing so well within each branch, they decided they needed something to make themselves bigger and better and they came up with the brilliant idea of a BUS! The bus can be hired out for parties, hen do's and even outside concerts or within a festival. It is a real British double decker bus 'decked' out to the max. The bus includes a nintendo wii, comfortable seating, flat screen tvs and even a DJ booth! Where else can you go to get a milkshake, play wii and party all at the same time?!

The launch party was so much fun. There were free taster milkshakes being given out, lots of people, a live DJ and V.A.S (who is a singer/rapper) He performed his new song "Shapes in the air" (the video for the song was made in one of the ShakeTastic branches) and also a few of his other tracks. Vas is a really talented young guy who I think will make it big one day. You can check out his website at http://www.vasmusic.co.uk/ or follow him on twttier @vasmusic

To me, this really is one of the best things I have seen in a long time. It is clever, fun and I personally think will do so well.

To see a menu of all the shakes, find your nearest brach or get more info on the bus check out www.shaketasticbars.com or email mobile@shaketasticbars.com. You can also follow them on twitter @ShakeTastic

Hmm, after writing this, I have a real urge for a smoothie! Off i go to Brent Cross shopping centre to get one.. might buy some clothes on route :)

Have a great day dolls!!

Lotsa love..
